Supporting Mission in England

There are many benefits of being a local church that is part of a denomination – as Emmanuel Anglican Church is part of the Free Church of England.

One of these benefits is that we have our vision lifted to pray for mission opportunities beyond our local area. At an upcoming prayer meeting we will be praying for Rev’d Jonatas Bragatto – a missionary from Brazil who has relocated to England to help bring the gospel to our nation. Jonatas has visited us in Tunbridge Wells for a weekend, and is now serving in FCE churches in North England. He has taken real steps of faith to move here – as people once went out from Engand to share the gospel with Brazil. The FCE denomination is helpiong support and mentor Jonatas into a longer term church mission opportunity. Meanwhile he is seeking to raise £3,600 to cover essential living and relocation costs.
