Sunday Worship
10.30am and 6.30pm
We meet at 10.30am and 6.30pm each Sunday for worship and we love to welcome visitors. Children are welcome at both services. At our services we sing a mixture of hymns, newer songs and psalms, listen to the preaching of God's word and bring to God our prayers.
On the first Sunday of the month, after the 10.30am service, we stay for lunch together at church and serve tea & coffee after every service.

About Us
Emmanuel Anglican Church is a reformed and evangelical Christian Church which exists to enable people to know God for themselves. Our name ‘Emmanuel’ means ‘God with us’. It reminds us that in Jesus, God has come to be with his people. Today anybody can get to know God through reading and responding to what we learn about Jesus in the Bible and living in step with the Holy Spirit.
At Emmanuel Anglican Church we seek to help people engage with the Bible through worship and ministry that takes the best of ancient and contemporary wisdom. We combine modern music with words used by the Anglican Church for centuries. Our approach to ministry is designed to be understandable to anybody, relevant to modern life – but rooted deeply in Scripture and the rich heritage of the Christian Church.
Emmanuel Anglican Church is an Anglican Church which is separate from the Church of England. Up until the 1970s, the original Emmanuel Church had a building in Tunbridge Wells which stood on Mount Ephraim and could be seen for miles around. Whilst that building was tragically lost to make way for an expansion of the old Kent and Sussex Hospital, we inspired to revive that historic church in our town and plant a new Anglican church in our town, separate from the Church of England, but rooted in the heritage of the original Emmanuel Anglican Church.
